Hi, I’m Sam Davies—founder and lead building designer at Queensland Designer Homes.
I’m a husband, a dad, and someone who understands how much your home impacts the daily rhythm and wellbeing of family life. When a home no longer works for the way your family lives, it creates daily friction. My goal is to help remove that stress and guide you toward a new or renovated home design that feels functional, effortless, and calming.
For over 20 years, I’ve worked closely with Brisbane families to design thoughtful renovations—from small layout improvements to major, multi-million dollar transformations, specialising in raising and building under traditional Queenslanders. I bring a pragmatic, hands-on approach to every project, blending creative design with deep technical 'know-how' accumulated over many years. While I personally oversee and lead the design direction on every project, I’m backed by a talented and trusted team who help bring each concept to life.
My passion lies in creating homes that go beyond the facade. I’m especially driven to design spaces that promote health, wellbeing, and higher performance—homes that help people think clearer, rest deeper, move more freely, and simply feel better in their everyday environment.
